MAKE LIFE ROSY

UI and UX DESIGN

As my final major university project (2020), I had the opportunity to create my own design brief. I produced a concept for a fitness and well-being app (both UI and UX design) and gym complex. It was targeted for individuals with anxiety when working out at the gym. It was aimed to make their experience less daunting.

My solution? Meet Rosy. The female fitness and well-being app and gym, designed to make going to the gym less of a daunting experience for those with anxiety and depression.

Each machine in the gym connects to the app wirelessly. There are two core pathways within the app: fitness and mental well-being.

Machines are housed in their own pods to give user privacy
and to create a safe space for workouts.

The app runs automatically when placed on the wireless plate which is connected to each machine. It records how many reps and sets the person does, and what weight is logged. After the workout session is completed, Rosy prompts the user to take a progress picture and fill out a mental health form so it can be tracked across a period of time.
